We welcome you to a virtual visit of our school. Founded in 1966, GISA is West Africa’s only officially recognized German school abroad. Located in Accra, Ghana, GISA offers a bilingual, holistic education from nursery to secondary level. It combines the Thuringian curriculum with Cambridge standards, emphasizing academic excellence, creativity, and intercultural learning. Around 130 students from 20+ nations are guided by a diverse international team. GISA promotes inclusivity, sustainability, and global citizenship, supported by strong partnerships with Germany. Small learning groups, vibrant facilities, and rich extracurricular programs make GISA a place where bridges are built—between Ghana, Germany, and the world.
