School Board

A new Board of Directors was elected on September 30, 2025:

from left to right: Beatrice Thiel (deputy), Araba Adjei (deputy), Gunnar Wegner (chairman), Abigail Afari Adane (treasurer) and Robert Lüdtke (secretary)

The GISA Board is democratically elected from among the parents. It represents the parent body as the school authority and its tasks are to plan long-term school development and the annual budget. Insofar as it concerns the running of the school itself, the board coordinates closely with the headmaster. Membership of the board is on a voluntary basis.
