A Christmas Project That Truly Shines!

Written on 28 November 2025

What began as a simple sustainability idea has grown into a brilliant display of creativity at GISA: this year’s Christmas project celebrates upcycling, teamwork, and hands-on craftsmanship – and the results are impressive!

Over the past weeks, our students transformed countless plastic bottles into a spectacular Christmas tree. From collecting and sorting to drilling, wiring, assembling, and finally spraying them in bright colours – every step was filled with excitement and strengthened our sense of community.

At the same time, a second creative team built small plastic Christmas trees and festive decorations from bamboo sticks. Sustainability, skill, and imagination were at the heart of their work as well.

This project beautifully demonstrates how something new and meaningful can emerge from materials that might otherwise be thrown away – a strong message for environmental awareness and responsible action.
