A New Companion in School Life: Rocky Joins Ethics Class

Today, our Ethics lesson had a very special guest: Rocky joined the class for the very first time. 🐶

And the premiere could hardly have gone better. The students welcomed Rocky calmly, attentively and with great enthusiasm. At the same time, it was wonderful to see how naturally consideration, responsibility and respectful interaction – with one another and with our four-legged visitor – became part of the lesson.

This is exactly what makes a school dog so special: their presence can help create a calm and positive learning atmosphere, strengthen social and emotional skills, and provide unique learning experiences along the way.

Of course, we are introducing Rocky to school life carefully and step by step. What matters most to us is that every child feels comfortable with his presence. We will therefore continue to observe closely how his role in everyday school life develops.

Rocky’s first Ethics lesson was certainly a wonderful start – and perhaps we will soon see him padding through the school corridors on four paws more often. 🐾😊
