A Warm Welcome to Patience Amankwah
Patience Amankwah joins the German International School Accra as a student intern (German/English) and is delighted to be part of the school community.
She brings around ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including roles in child and youth protection, educational institutions, and in collaboration with the Federal Agency for Civic Education as well as universities in Germany and abroad.
In her work, she is particularly committed to empowering young people and providing them with a safe and supportive learning environment.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Scandinavian, British, and Belgian crime series, baking, and singing in a choir. She especially enjoys dishes such as Jollof rice with chinchinga or suya and kelewele, as well as gluten-free rye bread with Kerrygold butter and Gruyère or Comté cheese.
She is very much looking forward to the time ahead.
