Creative Together – A Special Team Afternoon

On Friday afternoon, the strong sense of community within our entire team at the German International School Accra was once again clearly visible: Initiated by the staff council and offered by the school, a large group of colleagues from across all areas came together to immerse themselves in the art of weaving.

In a calm and inspiring atmosphere, it was a welcome opportunity to step away from the lively pace of everyday school life, work with our hands, and engage in meaningful conversations. Step by step, natural materials were transformed into small, unique handmade pieces – each reflecting both individual creativity and shared experience.

The weaving workshop not only provided insight into traditional craftsmanship and cultural contexts, but above all created space for connection, exchange, and genuine togetherness. A truly enriching afternoon that once again highlighted the value of shared experiences for our team spirit.
