Easter at the German International School Accra – A Celebration of Community

It has been a very special week for the community of the German International School Accra: At the beginning of the week, we came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a wonderful reflection of the cultural diversity and shared values that define our school.

The week concluded with a much-loved tradition: our Easter egg hunt on the last school day before the two-week holiday. In the days leading up to it, students had creatively designed their own Easter nests – colorful, unique, and full of anticipation.

Then the excitement began: children set off across the school campus in search of their hidden nests. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone joined in with great enthusiasm – even our Grade 8 students were fully caught up in the thrill of the hunt.

Smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of togetherness could be seen everywhere. Once again, the Easter egg hunt became a joyful shared experience that brings our entire school community together.

We wish all our students, families, and staff a Happy Easter and a restful holiday! 🐣🌸
