Happy summer holidays / First day of school
We wish you an exciting, relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation and look forward to seeing you again in good health at the start of school. Your children have the opportunity to take part in a "Back to school" kick-off from August 7 - 9, 2024. If you are interested, please contact Sara Debackere (
The school year begins for all students on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 8 a.m. on our basketball court with a school year opening ceremony.
Afterwards, all parents are cordially invited to the Swiss Club for coffee, which is a good opportunity to get to know each other.
When your child starts first grade, you are welcome to get and fill a school cone if you are familiar with this custom or have the opportunity to do so. All students should bring their school bag with them on the first day of school, containing a filled pencil case, scissors and a glue stick. Please refer to the material lists in the appendix. Your child will need sports equipment and swimming gear for PE lessons.
Students receive their timetable in the first week of school.
Lessons end at 2.50 pm for all students in Years 1 - 6 from the first day of school, and at 3.40 pm for Year 7.
We have a variety of after-school-activities. Mrs Debackere will present and hand out the offers to you during the first week of school. If you have any questions about the individual programmes, please contact Sara Debackere:
We have a communal lunch break. If you would like your child to have a hot lunch, please order this on the first day of school from the North Ridge Café staff member who will be on site.
You have already received the invoices for the school fees and we ask you to pay them by 1 August 2024. You will receive the invoice for the extra-curricular fees separately.
