Excellence Scholarship Program

For Accra's brightest children, GISA is launching its first scholarship program starting March 10, 2025. If your child is between 8 and 13 years old, you can apply for this initiative. Families will only pay 17% of the annual school fees and a one-time registration fee of 200 euros.

Benefits:

• Save 83% on regular school fees (up to €9,000 or GHC 135,000 per year)
• Access to German universities after successfully graduating from GISA
• Free German language course starting March 10, 2025

Application Requirements: Submit your application by January 31, 2025, including:

• Cover letter
• Application form including a photo of the student
• School reports from the last two academic years
• Educational assessments (if available)
• Student’s ID or birth certificate
• ID of both parents
• Electricity bill as proof of address in Ghana
• For self-employed applicants: Most recent tax return stamped by the GRA, prepared by an auditor, and certified by an accountant
• For employed applicants: Employer’s payslip and employment contract
• Bank statements from the last 6 months

Selection Process:

• Application deadline: 31/01/2025 and invitation to assessment center after review
• Assessment Center: 08/02/2025
• Trial schooling: 17/18/02/2025
• Acceptance or rejection notification by 26/02/2025
• Start of the German intensive course: 10/03/2025

Payment Details: The registration fee of €200 and 50% of the school fees for the 2025/26 academic year are due by March 10, 2025. The remaining 50% is due by August 1, 2025.

Exclusion Criteria:

• Families whose school fees are reimbursed by their employer
• Families temporarily residing in Ghana
• Families with outstanding school fees owed to GISA
• Families with children already enrolled at GISA
