St. Nicholas visits GISA – sparkling eyes at the Daycare Center and Primary School
A little early, St. Nicholas paid a very special visit to our school on December 4, 2025. With a large sack full of little parcels, he surprised the children at the Daycare Center and the students at the Primary School.
There was great excitement in every group and class. The children had the opportunity to tell St. Nicholas what they already knew about him and this special holiday. The children were encouraged to reflect on situations this year in which they had been helpful to their friends. Of course, there were many good examples and therefore lots to talk about! They eagerly asked him questions, which St. Nicholas answered with great patience.
Before the gifts from the big sack were distributed, the children presented poems, finger plays and songs they learned about St. Nicholas and the Christmas season. St. Nicholas was visibly impressed by the children's enthusiasm, interest and great talent.
This extraordinary visit will surely remain in the memories of the children at the Daycare Center and Elementary School for a long time.
Thank you very much, dear St. Nicholas!
