Summer, Language and Fun – First GISA German as a Foreign Language Summer Program 2026

This year, the German International School Accra is launching its very first German as a Foreign Language Summer Program during the summer holidays — an exciting opportunity for our DaF students to improve their German skills in a playful, engaging and motivating environment.

From July 6th to July 24th, 2026, students will take part in a varied holiday program designed to strengthen speaking and communication skills in German while having fun learning together.

Under the theme “A Journey Around the World”, participants will enjoy exciting projects, interactive activities, creative tasks, as well as age-appropriate grammar and vocabulary practice. The program creates a positive and encouraging atmosphere in which German is naturally experienced and actively used in everyday situations.

The summer program will take place on the campus of the German International School Accra and is open to all DaF learners at the school.

We are very excited to introduce this new initiative for the first time and look forward to spending three joyful, active and language-rich summer weeks together at GISA.
