Visit of Winneba University Students at GISA
Thanks to our cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), we were delighted to recently welcome seven students from the University of Education Winneba to our school.
During a two-day school visit, the future teachers gained a comprehensive insight into life at GISA. They observed lessons across all grade levels – from preschool to secondary school – and experienced first-hand the unique characteristics of a German international school in Ghana.
These students represent the very first cohort in Ghana to major in German Language Education. Their enthusiasm was therefore all the greater, as this visit provided them with the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience at an early stage of their studies.
Their feedback was overwhelmingly positive: the warm welcome by our school community, the variety of teaching methods, and the inspiring encounters with our students left a lasting impression.
We are already looking forward to their return in October, when they will once again join us in preparation for our major event “130 Million – German Connects”, sharing and deepening their passion for the German language and culture.
