Visit of Winneba University Students at GISA

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), is a university in Ghana specialising in teacher training. The German Unit at the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFLE) teaches German as a foreign language and trains prospective German teachers on the B.A. in German Education programme as well as through a minor subject. The German Unit is supported by the DAAD (lecturer and teaching assistant) and works on further developing the German language programme as well as on international university partnerships, particularly with German partners. Together with GISA, we aim to give UEW students an insight into German lessons at a German school abroad, to strengthen the academic and intercultural exchange between the school and the university, and to inform pupils about the range of degree programmes available at UEW.
