The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany, active worldwide. Since 1961, it has been operating in Ghana, promoting international cultural exchange through a strong partner network. The language department offers workshops and seminars for teachers of German as a second language, along with an extensive examination program.
The library and information centre of the Goethe-Institut Ghana serves as a resource for those interested in literature and media. TThe profound cooperation of the Goethe-Institute and the GISA has repeatedly been shown in the participation of GISA in the Goethe-Institute’s National German Cultural Festival in Accra or the GISA musicals held at, and supported by the Goethe-Institut.
