Geburtstagsfreude beim Projekt „Deutsche Feste“

As part of our primary school project “German Celebrations”, this week was all about a very special occasion: a children's birthday party!

After learning about German birthday traditions and making their own birthday cards, the children finally had the chance to celebrate together. Traditional German birthday games such as Topfschlagen (pot-hitting), freeze dance and egg-and-spoon races called for skill, energy and plenty of enthusiasm. One of the funniest moments was the chocolate game, which involved rolling dice and dressing up in funny costumes.

With cheerful music, lively dancing and lots of laughter, the children enjoyed a fun-filled celebration. Along the way, they discovered typical German birthday customs and traditions through play and shared experiences.

A wonderful birthday celebration that everyone will remember with a smile!
