Advent Is Here: A New Surprise Every Day!

Finally, the moment has arrived: December is here, and with it the magical Advent season! Every day, a new door of the GISA Advent Calendar opens, revealing lovingly prepared Christmas surprises for our students. 

We began with a creative craft activity, where the children made beautiful envelopes, followed by a fun-filled game day that brought plenty of laughter and bright smiles. On Wednesday, the students discovered how to turn a single sheet of paper into a tiny booklet – a little folding magic to take home. And on Thursday, the whole school was filled with the smell of Christmas as everyone enjoyed delicious holiday punch. 

And the best part: wonderful surprises are waiting again next week – for the children, and maybe even for the teachers. The Advent season at GISA remains full of excitement! 

And here is the recipe so you can make this cozy Christmas punch at home: 

Ingredients: 

• 3–5 fruit tea bags 
• 2 liters of boiling water 
• 3 oranges 
• 1 lemon 
• 6–8 cloves 
• 2–3 cinnamon sticks 
• 500 ml apple juice 
• Optional: brown sugar for extra sweetness 

Preparation: 
Start by preparing the fruit tea with the boiling water. Then squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the tea. 

Wash the oranges thoroughly, slice them, and add them to the warm tea. Season with cloves and cinnamon sticks to give the punch its festive Christmas aroma. 

Finally, pour in the apple juice and sweeten with a bit of brown sugar if you prefer a sweeter taste.
