Boat Trip on the Volta – Grades 5 and 6 on an Adventure

On the third day of the class trip we woke up to a breakfast of oats, bread and sausages. We then went to the Akosombo port, where we learnt a lot about marine transportation and ship maintenance. We also visited various workshop and learnt about the history of the Volta Lake Transportation company and its operations. We then went to Adome Bridge Garden for a boat ride, where we learnt about marine life and the islands on the Volta Lake. Then we came back to the hotel and had a delicious lunch of jollof and chicken. It was then followed by a very fun pool party filled with music and joy. We then went to bed after a long and great day.
