Class trip to Mole

Day 1: ✈️ Flight from Accra to Tamale. The long awaited class trip to mole Nationalparc is here.

Day 2: 

On our first full day we woke up early to go on Safari. We saw lots of birds, antelopes, crocodiles and even an elephant. In the afternoon we walked to the oldest mosque in west Africa in the village of Larabanga.

Day 3:

Pool day and Night Safari. After a nice breakfast (pancakes and eggs), we made our way to Mole Motel. The view over the park and the waterhole was incredible! In the evening we went on a night safari and even saw 2 hyenas.  

Day 4:

In the morning we went on a small Kanu trip and saw many different kinds of birds. After that we visited Mognori village, where a medicine man showed us plants that are traditionally used for certain diseases. We also learned how sheabutter is made. In the afternoon we did a walking safari and saw 2 crocodiles swimming in the lake. 

Day 5:

After an eventful & beautiful class trip, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Accra.
