Our Trip to Madora Lodge 🚌☀️

As part of our excursion week, the students of Grades 7–8 went on a trip to Madora Lodge. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together outside of school, discover new places, and enjoy many fun activities.

We left school at 8:15 in the morning and drove for about four hours to Madora Lodge. During the ride we sang songs, talked to each other, and played on our devices. 🎶💬🎮

At around 12:30 we finally arrived at Madora. For lunch at 2:00 pm we enjoyed some delicious Jollof rice. Afterwards, the six groups received their rooms at 3 pm and had some time to unpack and relax.

At 4 pm we went to the football pitch to play. Later, a group of local children gave an amazing performance – they sang, danced, and at the end the audience joined in, dancing and singing along. It was such a joyful moment! 💃🕺

In the evening, around 6 pm, we had yam, salad, bofrots, and chicken for dinner – a perfect end to an exciting first day. 🍗🥗

The students will stay at Madora Lodge until Friday, and we can’t wait to hear more about their adventures in the coming days! 😄🌍
