Daily Report – Class Trip of Class 3/4 to the Tagbo Falls

The second night was also rather short – but our sleep was still deep and very refreshing. No surprise after the long hike the previous day and the activity-filled afternoon at the lodge.
So once again, our day began with crawling out of our tents and cheerful good-morning greetings shortly after 5:00 am. Some of us were woken by the light early-morning rain, others by the first gentle voices from the group.
After our initial greetings and small morning chat circles, we got straight to work: we got dressed, washed, packed our day rucksacks and also started preparing our luggage for the journey home. At 7:00 am, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes, plenty of fresh fruit and – of course – lots of cocoa to give us strength for the upcoming walk to the waterfall.
Shortly after 8:00 am, we finally set off: our hike to the Tagbo Falls was on the agenda. Despite our tired bones and sore muscles from the day before, we thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Once we reached the waterfall, we plunged into the cool water with great excitement – a wonderful refreshment that revived our tired bodies and woke us all up again.
Back at the lodge, our next task was already waiting: we took down our tents, gathered all our scattered belongings and finally packed all the luggage carefully back onto the roof of the bus. After a final tidy-up and a small farewell drink, the moment had come:
It was time to say goodbye – to the Tagbo Falls Lodge, the friendly team on site and the beautiful surroundings that had accompanied us for three days.
Now we are sitting on the bus, enjoying the tasty sandwiches from our lunch packs, taking a little break from the activities of the past few days and thinking back to all the wonderful experiences we shared together.
