To prevent waves of infection, we ask you not to bring your child to the kindergarten/school when he/she is ill.
Information on when you may bring your child back to the kindergarten/school in case of certain illnesses can be found in the following table.

Payment Information:
Starting in March 2025, North Ridge Café will be transitioning to a more cashless payment system for school lunches to ensure a smoother and more convenient process.
Special Offer:
Parents who pay for the full month ahead for their child's school meals will receive a 30 GHC Voucher from North Ridge Café, which can be used during a visit to the café. Please note, only one voucher per family will be issued.
Who is our caterer North Ridge Cafe and Bistro?
North Ridge Cafe and Bistro (NRC), established in 2023, embodies a vibrant vision to unite diverse communities through a rich blend of food, environment, and the arts.
Their menu is deeply inspired by Eva's cosmopolitan background, influenced by her experiences in Italy, Ghana, and the UK. They offer a variety of delicious and adventurous Afro-fusion dishes, along with catering tailored to meet specific tastes and events with advance bookings. Their informal and relaxed atmosphere fosters interactions among visitors, enhanced by regular organized events and unique art displays—a feature they plan to expand even further soon.
We are pleased to welcome interns to GISA. Currently, we collaborate with universities such as the University of Potsdam and the University of Passau, offering exciting internship opportunities.
Internships at GISA should last a minimum of four months.
Please note that internships with us are unpaid. However, we have set up a cozy "WG" on our school campus where interns can stay at affordable rates. We look forward to getting to know you and working together on interesting projects!
Kulturweit, the volunteer service of the German UNESCO Commission, promotes culture, nature, education and sport worldwide. Young people aged 18 to 26 can take on global responsibility and get involved in a wide variety of locations.
For many years now, GISA has been listed as a possible location for a Kulturweit intern. Every year, following a selection process carried out by Kulturweit, we are assigned an intern who usually spends a year with us.
The interns are open, interested and support us in a variety of ways in our day-to-day work. The points of contact with the country of Ghana, the people and the culture are particularly important to us, as these contacts offer great potential for the volunteers, initiate learning processes and offer them sustainable prospects.
At GISA, parents can purchase school items at the Administration (Reception Area) for their wards.
Children can also purchase individual items of stationery. Kindly send the exact money as change is very limited.
