Daily routine

The children gradually arrive in the group, are welcomed and can then start their play on their own or together with friends or their teachers.

Free play encourages children to create their own world and let their imagination run wild. This promotes their creativity and helps children to develop their own ways of thinking, strengthen their self-confidence and develop social skills.

Our open or targeted activities range from creative projects to exciting experiments and musical activities. We work on all areas of education with a thematic approach.

In the DaF/DaZ support (German as a foreign or second language), specialized German language teachers work together with the children in small groups to enhance their German language proficiency and comprehension.

During the morning circle, we welcome all the children once again, learn numbers and days of the week, discuss current topics, sing songs, have conversations, and much more.

At our communal breakfast, the children can come to rest and recharge for the rest of the day.

As a recurring ritual, we always start our meals with a table blessing.

The relaxed atmosphere provides a space for engaging conversations and strengthening the sense of community.

Throughout garden time, the children have free use of the garden with toys and vehicles.

They can expend their energy and enhance their physical abilities.

During learning time, we use targeted activities to support the younger children in the various educational areas in order to prepare them for starting school in the best possible way from the very beginning.

In their last year before starting school, the children have separate preschool lessons with the first-grade teacher for one hour a day.

At lunch together, the children can choose independently which components of lunch they would like to eat.

They are encouraged to try new things, but no one has to eat something he or she doesn't like.

The children also learn how to use cutlery and are responsible for clearing their place at the table after eating.

Hygiene education also involves daily tooth brushing together after lunch.

During quiet time, the children have the opportunity to relax and recharge their batteries for the rest of the day with a radio play, a story, book reading, mutual massages or some Yoga.

The children are put into small groups based on their language proficiency levels and are supported and challenged in both German and English.

There is the opportunity to choose from a selection of voluntary activities every day.

External teachers teach the children for example in music, dancing, football or arts and craft.

Here the children can have a short rest and gather energy for the afternoon with a small snack.
