Preschool

Every day, there is a special preschool program for the preschool children. This lasts 45 minutes and is offered by a teacher from the elementary school. During this time, the children work on syllables, rhymes, and initial sounds. They work on quantities and numbers, matching the correct quantity to the corresponding digit, for example. They practice counting forwards and backwards. There are exercises for perception and concentration. Logical patterns are identified, replicated, or continued. The children observe closely, compare pictures and shapes, and name the differences. They are introduced to initial school rituals, ensuring a smooth transition from kindergarten to first grade. Additionally, the library is visited, where children can borrow books, browse, and enjoy storytime. The children really enjoy this special time. Of course, preschool education also takes place in the regular kindergarten routine, as children learn skills like cutting, gluing, and holding a pencil correctly. Here, they become familiar with geometric shapes, quantities, initial letters, and much more.
