Gerald Asamoah does the honors
Gerald Asamoah, former German national footballer and Bundesliga player, did the honors at the GISA school enrolment ceremony. The German International School Accra celebrated the admission of the new ABC pupils as well as numerous other newcomers in all year groups. This is the first time in several years that the school has had a three-digit number of pupils.
Gerald Asamoah was accompanied by the head of his foundation for children with heart disease, Jens Conrad. The duo prepared the campaign planned for November, during which a team of surgeons from Duisburg, Germany will once again perform numerous life-saving operations on children.
The GISA school community, on the other hand, will provide logistical support; in addition, a second of Asamoah's godchildren will soon be enrolled in school with a full scholarship from the school.
To support the social commitment of the German International School, Nana Yaw Konadu from Electro Recycling Ghana was also present to hand over mobile devices for use at school by scholarship holders.
