Project time ‘Made in Ghana’
It was that time again: the pupils had the opportunity to decide on exciting new projects - a moment full of anticipation and curiosity.
Our theme for the next few weeks: Ghana!
From a creative wood workshop, where the artistic Adinkra symbols are to be made, to a rousing dance and music project that brings the rhythmic diversity of Ghana to life, to exciting insights into language and traditional games, there are hardly any limits to the variety. Culinary delights are also on offer, as participants can get to know the delicious Ghanaian cuisine in a cookery course. In addition, projects such as weaving or art with fabric invite you to try out the craftsmanship of the West African country for yourself. With such a colourful selection, there really is something for everyone!
The crowning glory of this inspiring project period is a cosy and warm family celebration to which the entire school community as well as friends and acquaintances are invited. Planned for the end of February, this party will not only present the creative results, but will also be a place of exchange and community. More information will follow!
Now it's time to keep your fingers crossed for a successful start to the projects next week! The anticipation and motivation of everyone involved is palpable - the best conditions for an unforgettable time full of learning, creativity and fun.
