St. Martin lantern walk
On November 7, 2024, the traditional St. Martin lantern walk took place at the German International School Accra. Children, parents, and teachers gathered to celebrate the legend of St. Martin together, singing traditional Martin songs while holding colorful lanterns. The lantern walk led everyone once around the area, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. At the end, Weckmänner (a traditional pastry) were handed out, which were enjoyed together, symbolizing the values of community and sharing.
