Speech therapy
If you are concerned about your child’s speech, language, comprehension or literacy skills I am happy to help or advice where needed. I’ve been a practicing Speech-Language Therapist in the private sector (Netherlands) since 2010 and have the pleasure to provide speech therapy sessions in school.
Speech therapy is indicated if your child has any difficulties in the following areas;
- pronouncing words or sounds (articulation)
- sentence structure, vocabulary, narratives, specific language impairment, word-finding difficulties (receptive and expressive language)
- oral motor skill development
- reading and/or spelling
- stuttering, cluttering (fluency)
- voice disorders
- the ability to remember and repeat sentences, words, rhymes and songs, naming of sounds in words (auditory processing)
Sessions are usually on a weekly base, will take 30-40 minutes and the main language will be English. I am used to and equipped to use German tools and materials during my sessions.
