Show your talent, change your future!

Football is more than just a game – it is a door opener for life. In collaboration with the German International School Accra (GISA), the Gerald Asamoah Academy brings "German training philosophy" to Ghana. Our goal is to provide children with high-quality athletic education that is fun, builds character, and creates bridges.

Professional Training for children in Accra

Our Academy is now open for externals. You do not have to be a GISA student to train with us – we are open to all football-loving talents in the city.

 Training according to DFB Guidelines

We rely on the official youth philosophy of the German Football Association (DFB). This means: maximum joy in the game, high intensity, and plenty of ball contacts for optimal development.

Growing Through Football – A Strong Coaching Team for the Football Academy

The Gerald Asamoah Football Academy at the German International School Accra continues to grow – and with it a dedicated and experienced coaching team committed to developing young talent while fostering joy in movement, teamwork, and personal growth through sport. Under the motto “Growing Through Football,” many young players in Accra begin an exciting journey.

4At the head of the academy stands Felix K. Amemasso, who takes on the role of Head Coach. With nearly two decades of coaching experience in both football and swimming, he brings extensive expertise in working with children, youth, and adults. In his role, he coordinates the training structure, supports the coaching team, and strengthens collaboration between players, parents, and coaches.

He is supported by a motivated team of coaches:

2Coach Collins works primarily with the youngest players in the Kindergarten and U8 groups. With more than 28 years of passion for football and international playing experience, he brings enthusiasm and valuable knowledge to youth development. His focus is on introducing children to the fundamentals of football in a playful and encouraging way.

3Coach Gerald Mensah trains the U10 boys’ team and brings more than six years of coaching experience. He combines tactical knowledge with a strong passion for developing young players and has already led teams to successful championship titles.

1In the youth section, Coach Enoch leads the U14 team. With several years of experience in youth football, he emphasizes discipline, commitment, and teamwork while creating a supportive environment where young players can develop their full potential.

Together, this coaching team represents the core mission of the academy: empowering children and young people through sport – physically, socially, and personally.

The Gerald Asamoah Football Academy at the German International School Accra combines professional football training with intercultural values and the vision of building bridges through sport.
