🌍 Professional Development in Cairo – GISA Promotes Lifelong Learning!

Written on 29 October 2025

Our German as a Foreign Language teacher, Bernard Adjei Boateng 🇬🇭, has safely arrived in Cairo and is taking part in the first on-site module of the training program for German-speaking local teachers (FOLK) at the German School of the Sisters of St. Borromeo (DSB).

Organized by the Federal Office for Foreign Affairs / ZfA, this professional development series strengthens the pedagogical and intercultural competencies of teachers at German schools abroad. The current modules in Cairo focus on lesson planning, parent collaboration, and learning in the digital age.

Bernard is making the most of this opportunity to gain new inspiration for his teaching at GISA, connect with colleagues from other countries, and exchange innovative ideas and best practices.

We are delighted that GISA staff members regularly take part in such high-quality training programs – an essential element of our ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and educational excellence.

➡️ Our thanks go to the ZfA and the German School of the Sisters of St. Borromeo for hosting this inspiring and well-organized event!
