Project time
Promoting individual talents, passions and interests is particularly important to us at DISA. During project times, pupils can choose from an extensive and regularly changing range of projects. The projects are offered by teachers at the school or by interested parents. In elementary school, the projects take place on two afternoons a week, in secondary school on one afternoon.
This week saw the start of the first projects of the school year at both primary and secondary level. The focus here is on Germany. The aim is to present the projects at our German Days event on Saturday, October 5.
The different and creative choices did not make it easy for the children to make a decision. We are looking forward to a successful start and are already looking forward to the presentation of the results.
For the primary school we offer:
- Preparing for winter - it's getting cold in Germany!
- Landscapes in Germany
- Paper production and book printing
- German cars
- Cooking and baking German specialties
At secondary school level we offer
- German Rap - Meet Samy Deluxe and other superheroes
- Paper making and book printing
- German play culture
- German inventions
The next projects will start after the fall break in the week after October 21. The theme of these projects will be Christmas/winter. If you are a parent at our school and would like to offer a project, please contact us.
