Reading aloud day

Today, we celebrated the joy of stories and the power of reading together under the motto “Reading aloud creates a future!” From exploring magical worlds to sharing laughter and emotions, reading aloud sparks imagination and builds connections. Here’s what made our day special:

• An interactive start followed by group activities for different age groups – from KITA to Grade 7 – with books in German and English, storytelling, and fun reading activities.
• Our Grade 5-7 pupils participated in the “Reading Competition for German Schools Abroad”, a big congratulations to Zoe Meermann who became our school champion!
• A magical visit from children's book author Christina Groth, who introduced her latest book “Mopping!”, bringing Carlo von Catwig’s adventures to life for Grades 1-4.
