Making color magnifiers

The highlight of the week in our nursery was making colored magnifying glasses. With great enthusiasm and creativity, the children made colorful magnifying glasses out of transparent paper and sturdy, colorful frames.

After making them, the colored magnifying glasses were immediately tried out: The children held them up to the sun, looked at their surroundings and marveled at how different the world looked through the different colored discs. This creative project not only encouraged their curiosity and fine motor skills, but was also great fun!
