Bunny ears and Easter fever

This week class 1/2 was caught up in Easter fever. The children made bunny ears, dyed eggs and hunted for Easter nests—an exciting, fun‑filled few days. They also got some work done: stories were turned into puppet‑show recordings, and in maths everyone practised addition and subtraction with written strategies, each child working within their own number range—up to 20 or up to 100.
In English class 1/2 learned about compound words and had a great time building words together to form new ones. The students enjoyed the creative process of combining words and discovering their meanings.
We also engaged in group activities that emphasized teamwork, allowing the learners to collaborate and share their ideas while further reinforcing their understanding of compound words.
