First Aid Workshop
Last Monday, the students of Grades 1 to 4 had the opportunity to take part in a very special first aid workshop, lovingly and expertly led by a dedicated mother—who is also a pediatrician—and our school nurse, Nancy.
With great sensitivity and child-friendly explanations, they taught the children in a playful and engaging way how to help in emergency situations. From applying a plaster to putting someone in the recovery position or bandaging a wound with pressure – the young helpers listened attentively and, of course, got hands-on themselves.
The practical exercises were particularly exciting: there was wrapping, bandaging, and practicing galore! The children participated with great enthusiasm and took home not only valuable knowledge but also a boost in self-confidence.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful instructors for this inspiring and educational morning!
We are already looking forward to continuing the course after the holidays with our secondary school classes.
