From Idea to Pattern – Another Step Towards Their Own Collection

After refining and enhancing their collection designs on Tuesday, the students took the next step on Thursday: creating their very first sewing patterns.

To start, they had to take precise measurements – determining the exact length and width of each part of the garment. These measurements were then carefully transferred onto large sheets of paper. This is how the first sewing patterns were created, which will later be used to cut the fabric.

It wasn’t easy! Drawing perfectly straight lines, marking angles correctly, and keeping the proportions accurate was quite a challenge. But with patience, teamwork, and lots of concentration, the students successfully completed their very own sewing patterns.

With this, another important milestone on the journey to their very own mini collection has been reached.
