School cones and Potsdam

The DaF class at secondary level (the motivated pupils in years 5, 6 and 7) got to grips with the German tradition of school cones before the vacations. They each made one as a welcome gift for the new students starting in May. The results were varied and colorful.This week, our topic was the vocabulary of the circle of friends, school, lessons, but also nutrition and the food pyramid.With the topic of school and lessons, the learners have dealt with the polite form, negation and possessive articles in grammar.This Friday, the DaF group once again wrote a learning objectives test on this week's topics.What the learners also prepared this week were profiles for future collaboration with students from the University of Potsdam. Next week, the students will receive letters of introduction from Potsdam and prepare for their future interview acquaintances.
